CHILDREN’S GRIEF AWARENESS DAY
One of my many responsibilities for the Highmark Caring Place is to lead the Children’s Grief Awareness Day Committee. During my tenure as the leader of that Committee, we have come up with several different themes and promotional materials to help brand that theme and spread the word about the day. The pieces of work you see are some of my favorite ones that we have developed.
We have also inspired a lot of states and countries to adopt Children’s Grief Awareness Day. One of my proudest moments is getting Children’s Grief Awareness Day proclaimed in West Virginia (my home state) in honor of my Mom, who lost her brother and father at an early age.
